Identify the Vehicle Clearly
Have the year, make, model, approximate mileage and VIN available. Explain whether the engine starts, the transmission engages, the steering turns and the vehicle can roll. Mention missing wheels, keys, battery, catalytic converter or major body parts.
Take Photos That Answer Questions
Send a front, rear and side view, plus close photos of collision or mechanical damage. Include one photo of the space around the vehicle. A car blocked by another vehicle, parked below grade or sitting on soft ground may require different equipment.
Review Ownership Information
State whether you have the title, registration, identification and keys. Do not guess about paperwork. Ask what must be reviewed before scheduling, especially when the owner name, title status or vehicle location has changed.
Describe the Pickup Location
Provide the neighborhood, surface, gate instructions and access restrictions without posting private codes publicly. Tell the buyer whether the car is at a residence, apartment, repair shop, tow yard or storage facility.
Confirm the Complete Offer
Ask whether towing is included, what could change the quoted amount, how payment is made and what documents are completed at pickup. Keep the agreed details available until the transaction is finished.
